The design is drawn in about a minute; the piece takes weeks. Panels and wood slices reach you in 32 to 36 days and an ornament in 18 to 25, door to door: about five weeks and about three. You see your own order's estimate ahead of paying, and nothing is poured until payment clears.

How long does the design take?
About a minute. You upload a photograph on the create page and Tedooo's design technology draws it as a resin portrait while you wait. If the first drawing is not right you change something and draw it again, and it stays free until you approve one.
That minute is the only fast part. Everything after your approval is done by hand, and resin sets at its own pace.
How long does the making and the delivery take?
Between two and a half and five weeks, depending on the piece. The ornament is the quickest; the panels and the wood slices take longest, because they are bigger pours with more layers.
| Piece | Door to door | In round figures |
|---|---|---|
| Glitter or pearl panel | 32–36 days | About five weeks |
| Resin wood slice | 32–36 days | About five weeks |
| Resin ornament | 18–25 days | About three weeks |
The figures above are the ones the cards print. The estimate for your own order, for your piece and your address, is shown before you pay, and that one is the one to plan around.
Why does resin take weeks?
Because every layer has to set before the next one goes on, and the clear flood at the end cures slowest of all. A portrait is built up in fine layers of tinted resin, and hurrying a layer clouds it or pulls the one below.
- The ground is laid and left to set: glitter and gold leaf, pearl, or the sanded wood round.
- The portrait goes on in layers, the eyes last, each layer setting before the next.
- One clear flood goes over everything and is left to cure glass-hard.
- The cured piece is polished by hand to a mirror gloss, then packed.
We do not quote the cure in hours because it is not fixed: it depends on the piece, the pour and the room. What we quote is the door-to-door figure, which is the one that matters to you.
When do I need to order for Christmas?
Order panels and wood slices by 15 November and ornaments by 28 November. Those dates leave the usual lead time and a margin for the post.
An ornament ordered in the last days of November is still on the tree in time; a panel ordered then is not. If you are sending a piece as a present, the gifting guide covers the dates, the packing and what to write on it.
Can I follow where it is?
Yes. Every box is tracked end to end, and your order page shows where it is from the day it leaves the studio.
Before that, the summary beside the design you approve on the create page gives the "made in" line: 3–5 weeks, door to door. Your card is untouched until Tedooo's checkout, and the resin stays in its bottles until the payment clears, so the clock starts when the payment does.
The footer's Track your order link opens the same order page from anywhere on the site. If the estimate at checkout and the figures above disagree, the estimate at checkout is the one for your order: the figures above are what the cards print for the usual case, and the materials page repeats them beside everything else that goes into a piece.
Questions this leaves
Can you make it faster for a birthday?
Not by much, because the curing is the slow part and it cannot be hurried without clouding the resin. The ornament is the quickest piece at 18 to 25 days door to door. For a panel or a wood slice, allow about five weeks.
Does the lead time include shipping?
Yes. The 32–36 and 18–25 day figures are door to door: the making and the delivery together. The checkout page adds shipping, plus any duties for your country, and shows the delivery estimate for your own address ahead of payment.
What if the design takes longer than a minute?
Sometimes a drawing takes a little longer, and the page says so while you wait. It is still free and still unpaid. If the drawing never comes right, leave a note in the result box and a reply comes back from the bench that same day.
